Hibernate was one of the last paintings painted in this series. The colors are what created the feeling in the painting. Blue is a calming color that represents serenity and wisdom, while green brings freshness and rebirth. The earth doesn't get the green of spring without the solemn blues winter brings. Taking the time to rest will bring forward wonderful things!
